There's a design style that no one talks about, and it likely surrounds you no matter where in the world you are.

In my bachelor thesis I delved into a type of design that breaks all rules of art school and has been around forever. Yet, we don't define it as it's own genre and blatantly disregard it’s aesthetic qualities.

Along with my thesis paper, where I defined the genre and debated its beauty, I turned my dataset into a coffee table book. A collection of curb signs and storefronts found around Oslo, Norway.

This took aims to define the genre, and by doing so, celebrate its form.
Here I came up with new designs based off of my research.
